Seed Phase Policy

To launch a useful directory on day one, AI Pulse creates editorial listings for AI tools using only public factual information:

• Tool name (factual, not copyrightable)
• Public homepage URL
• Category placement we judge editorially
• Our 30-word factual description, written in our voice — never copied
• Logo via Clearbit or favicon — never scraped from the tool's site
• Pricing tier label (Free / Freemium / Paid) — not specific pricing

We never:

• Copy descriptions from a tool's website
• Scrape screenshots
• Store reviews
• Scrape competitor directories (Futurepedia, Toolify, TAAFT, AIxploria, Future Tools)

Owner controls

• Claim free: use the unique link in our outreach email or submit your domain with a verifying business email.
• Opt out anytime: one-click /optout/[token]. Listing removed within 48 hours, domain added to a permanent never-list.
• 3-email cap: we contact a tool's owner at most 3 times ever (initial, day 14, day 45), then stop forever.

Editorial listings carry a visible "ⓘ Unclaimed listing" badge until claimed. They never receive paid placement.
